Vision

Perched within the wide-open landscapes of Tetonia, Badger Creek Ranch embodies the intersection of rugged authenticity and refined luxury. The clients envisioned a timeless retreat — one that celebrates the textures of the mountain west while introducing a sense of quiet sophistication through form, proportion, and material harmony.

Natural light, reclaimed materials, and strong architectural lines define the home’s essence: a seamless fusion of heritage and modernity.

Design Story

From its custom steel front door to its soaring 18-foot stone fireplace, the residence tells a story of craftsmanship and permanence. The reclaimed barnwood siding speaks to the land’s history, while the precision of Andersen E-Series windows and sleek black standing-seam roofing root the design in the present.

Inside, the architecture flows around a custom white oak and steel staircase — the sculptural heart of the home. Every detail reflects intention: granite countertops, bespoke Trimart cabinetry, and Thermador appliances that balance performance with presence.

Exterior

Reclaimed barnwood, natural stone, and black standing-seam roofing create a bold yet grounded exterior palette. Covered porches and Trex Transcend decking extend living spaces outward, while a heated three-bay garage and underground drainage system merge practicality with design integrity.

Interior

Inside, reclaimed white oak floors and level 5 smooth walls set a tone of effortless elegance. Exposed timber beams rise overhead, contrasting with the smooth planes of contemporary finishes.

Two wood-burning fireplaces and a gas hearth bring warmth and rhythm to the open-plan layout, while radiant floors in the bathrooms and a fully integrated Lutron smart lighting system enhance comfort.

Kitchen

The kitchen is a showpiece of culinary refinement — anchored by granite countertops, dual wine coolers, and a Thermador suite of appliances. A hidden pantry, espresso bar, and standalone ice maker reflect the home’s blend of function and indulgence.

Bath & Suites

Each bath was crafted as a private sanctuary. The primary suite features a freestanding tub, steam and rain shower, and radiant flooring, complemented by a custom vanity that mirrors the home’s natural palette. Guest baths echo the same meticulous attention to comfort and craftsmanship.
